ynotme 6 Report post Posted September 11, 2014 Well a week ago I sorta came out to an old girlfriend of many years ago. I was sitting on the floor and when I got up he saw the heel and said am I wearing cowboy boots and are they for line dancing? I pulled up my jeans and showed her these oxfords from payless US. She said that I don’t have to roll up my pants warring those. So that night I sent her this in an e mail. Did I freak you out with my Heels? I like them there fun and look good. Why should girls have all the fun? I always liked when you wore them looked fun So I decided a while ago why not so under jeans ok Your weird friend Her response was this They are cool and different. Like you say why not?!?! Oh and don't start wearing them with a dress, kilt, skirt, etc. because then I WILL disown you. My response was Ok no skirts I don’t think this is a problem our friendship is a funny one and different These are the shoes she saw
FastFreddy2 282 Report post Posted September 11, 2014 Well done you. Sounds like 'early-days' for her and having a male friend into wearing a heel, but hopefully the two of you will get out together with you in a heel? Certainly she didn't 'flip' or appear to be uncomfortable? If you two have been close, or are close, she will at least know you are good people. Hopefully, we'll be hearing about an adventure out together in the not-too-distant-future? Hope it goes well.

FastFreddy2 282 Report post Posted November 7, 2014 Having acceptance, even from just one person, is so liberating! I'm tempted to suggest it's the way to know you're out of the closet, not being alone with your 'thing' (for heels).... But I think it must be more than that. "Acceptance" means not only are you out of the closet, but you don't have to go back unless you want to?
ynotme 6 Report post Posted November 7, 2014 She has seen some other heels I have and likes some of the styles I have. She is giving me suggestions or her opinion on the way to wear some . Fun to have that

ynotme 6 Report post Posted November 8, 2014 Way to go. If you've mentioned it elsewhere, forgive me for asking again, but do you wear a heel outside? Yes I have been since 2002 under jeans long boot cut but mostly hiding them I have been more open since last November when I found this site and high heel place .i had sent many hours reading so many post sleepless nights It has given me more confidence to do more I do thank all of the posts on this site it has helped And I hope to give someone else that same felling with the post I am making . FastFreddy2 282 Report post Posted November 9, 2014 Yes I have been since 2002 under jeans long boot cut but mostly hiding them I suppose I do the same. I've never worn a high heel shoe or boot on plain view, nor do I ever intend to. To do that would mean wearing a skirt or trousers/jeans that were waaay too short, or boots over leggings/jeans. The boots over jeans style is one I'm not overly keen on for myself, mostly because I have fairly slim legs, and have yet to find a longer boot that even came close to looking like it fitted. These sites do provide a lot of (moral) support and encouragement for our unusual interest. I believe that reading about others who have ventured out in daylight wearing a heel, got me doing the same. I find the more frequently I do it -wear a heel out- the more comfortable I am doing it. Meaning, if I don't go out in a heel for a while, I'm more self conscious when I do. If I go out twice in a week, the second time I feel completely at ease in a heel. Looks like you may have found someone you can share your interest with. I've found I get a LOT fewer looks when I'm with a girl and I'm out in heels, though I still do get looked at from time to time even when I have a female companion. Until recently I had believed it was the sound of the heel that was the "teller", and still believe it might be responsible for 80% of the looking. But recently I went out in some stupidly high 5" heels (I'm a UK8/US10) that are all but silent, and I still got looked at once or twice, apparently because I was walking (sashaying) like a girl.... Oh well .....
